Built for demanding laboratory workflows, DentalCAD combines guided tools with extensive freedom for experienced users. Its open architecture supports a broad selection of scanners, production systems, materials and specialized exocad modules, allowing every laboratory to create a workflow around its own requirements.
AI-assisted multi-unit design
AI Design can assist with several adjacent posterior restorations, including up to three crowns and short posterior bridges. Automated proposals reduce repetitive design steps while the dental technician remains in control of the final morphology and fit.

Improved Implant Module
The updated Implant Module provides tooth-position-aware abutment proposals, simpler customization and reusable abutment shape presets. Three-dimensional previews of implant library components make component selection clearer during the design process.
AI-supported bite splint design
Intelligent automation accelerates the initial bite splint proposal while preserving the detailed tools required for case-specific adjustment. This helps laboratories shorten design time without giving up control.

Compatible TruSmile services can transform a digital smile design into a photorealistic visual preview. Automatic alignment of the 3D jaw scan with the patient image and automatic lip-line detection support faster planning and more visual patient communication.

Instant Anatomic Morphing in chain mode
Chain mode enables synchronized adaptation of occlusal morphology across multiple restorations. It is especially useful for bridge cases and larger tooth setups where consistent anatomical changes need to be applied efficiently.
